don't worry, be happy! posted at 9:59 AM | 0 Noticed Me

I just checked my student portal acc a minute ago.The exam entry exercise is starting soon in early Jan.This means my series of nightmare is going to start soon and it will never end this time round. Prelim will most likely begin after CNY, followed by the actual paper in May/June. I will be forced to give up my student identity thereafter.sob sob....And I will have to start preparing my resume soon after. Followed by several rounds of interviews, that is if the HR pple are willing to grant me interviews.Or if there is any kind soul who is willing to refer me?Technically speaking, its a win-win situation for both of us.I stand a slightly higher chance n u get to earn the referral fees.ha.

Stepping into the working world is disastrous. And i seriously mean it.

Number one, punctuality counts.Waking up early in the morning and slogging to work on time is cruel(in my humble opinion). That means no sleeping in.Haiz...

Number two, playing politics. Sometimes, it ain't easy to remain neutral.

Number three, personal free time is greatly reduced. And i mean
GREATLY.

Number four, difficult internal customers=colleagues. Facing difficult external customers is already going to result in wrinkles appearing earlier then supposed to be. Facing difficult colleagues only makes life difficult. Why make life difficult when its just ren sheng duan duan ji shi nian? Shouldn't we try to enjoy life?

Okok...i admit, I just dun wish to face the reality. Im just giving excuses.Im always the one trying to escape from reality. Since i dun have a choice, I just have to face it positively. Always look on the bright side of life! ( I hope I can practice what I preach.)At least at the end of the day, I will have a 'fatter' bank acc. That is if I can control myself from excessive spending! haha!

Wish me luck, peeps! Jia You! Jia You! Jia You! (",)

There are lots to update but not sure which to start with...

Due to overwhelming reponse(90% of the tix to the first show were snapped up!), the organisers have arranged an additional Jay Chou concert. Immediately, I went to check up on the status at sistic website.Within a day, at least 50% of the tix were sold. Priority is currently given to OCBC cardholders only. The public has not even has the chance to make any purchase. All these were possible without almost ANY promotions at all,let me repeat, promotion cost were kept at a minimal. There were no TV ads, only small articles printed on the newspapers n magazines. I guess only Jay Chou has this kind of ability....

Sigh...me praying hard for a 3rd show.Dear frens, please alert me if u come across any related news n updates, I dun wish to miss it again...

David Copperfield 's magic show was cancelled at the last minute.Im sure lotsa pple are kinda disappointed, hope that the legal issues can be resolved soon n that he can be back for his magical performance.

Upcoming concerts:

Kind souls who have free tix to any of the above concerts (except Show 's), please give me a ring and I will be there to collect the tix from ya. Heee....

Singapore 's Hit Awards 2007
As requested my faithful reader,Mudan, the following is a summarized updates on the annual awards ceremony held last Saturday.

Apparently, things din go smoothly at the show. Sky Wu, one of the guests who were arranged to present 5 awards that night din turned up at the last minute due to bad weather conditions at Shanghai.Chen Weilian n Fong Datong were asked to stand in to present one of the awards.Heard that there was quite a bit of "leng chang" as there wasn't much chemistry between both of them.

It was reported that only 60% of the seats were occupied. My fren who attended the ceremony told me there were several vacant seats.(Was the tix too ex? or fans were saving up for other concerts?)

Complaints. Fans of Fei Lun Hai bought the $99 tix but found out they were allocated to the $58 seats. The organiser have not respond to this issue.

Too many? There were 4 recipients for the Best Newcomer Awards. They include Mi Lu Ping, Shi Xin Hui, Cai Ming You and Ting Zu. There were supposingly to be 3 recipients for Bronze, Silver n Gold awards, but 2 of them scored the same points and resulted in 4 recipients.

Too few? It seems that this year, the artistes who attended the ceremony were fewer compared to previous years. Seems like only fans of Angela Zhang, Sun Yan Zi n Fei Lun Hai managed to "bring out" the atmosphere of the event.

Those who came=those who were awarded? Looks like its not true this year. S.H.E and Jay Chou din turn up but won themselves several awards.

Hmmm...that should be all. Lets hope that our one and only local music award ceremony can be more successful in the coming years! Jia You!
